Gray's General Store opened in March of 2012, after only a few months of hard work, but years of dreaming and planning.
Judy and Britta Folden are a mother/daughter team who came together to create a place where they could finally go full time with their DIY lifestyles. Both Judy and Britta have an interest in sewing, knitting, antiques and supporting the local economy.
Judy is originally from Portland, Oregon but has lived in Grays Harbor for nearly 50 years. She has been sewing for many years and has made everything from quilts to clothing to felted slippers.

Britta grew up in Aberdeen and spent nearly 10 years living between Bellingham, Seattle and Portland, gathering up knowledge and skills to bring back to Grays Harbor. She also operates the business Queen B Quilts and is loves everything DIY. You can read her blog here.
